On March 24, 2025, ACCCTEP brought together professionals in teacher preparation to discuss recent updates to the Transfer Model Curriculum (TMC) for the AA-T in Elementary Teacher Education. Participants shared strategies for implementing the new model and reviewed proposed revisions to the Introduction to Elementary Teaching course descriptor (C-ID EDUC 200).

ACCCTEP 2024 Fall Convening
On November 8, 2024, ACCCTEP held its 2024 Fall Convening. This year's theme was "Preparing for 2030 and Beyond". Participants spent their time together discussing and learning about issues directly impacting the development of future teachers. Workshop Presentations can be found below:

Counseling and Advising Future Teachers - February 24, 2022
On February 24, 2022, ACCCTEP held a webinar on Counseling and Advising Future Teachers. Presenters Steve Bautista, Counselor/Coordinator Center for TeacherEducation, Santa Ana College, and Aimee Nelson, Director, Center for Careers in Teaching, CSU Fullerton, discussed Undergraduate Pathways to Credential Programs, the Latest on AB130 and Methods to Meet Basic Skills and Subject Matter Competency, and Best Practices for Counseling and Advising Aspiring Educators.
